● Understands the way that culture, identity, and belonging can shape how you see yourself and move through the world
…you might be in the right place.
About Priya
With warmth, curiosity, and depth, Priya works with adults of all ages residing in both Massachusetts and New York seeking to better understand themselves and their relationships. As a South Asian woman born and raised in the United States, she is attuned to the experience of balancing different cultures and identities while trying to cultivate an authentic sense of self. She believes that our lived experiences shape how we relate to ourselves, to others, and to the world around us.
In therapy, Priya helps clients explore the stories they carry about their past and present relationships, experiences, and identities, while making room for strengths and resources that may have gone unnoticed. Her practice is grounded in a blend of relational psychodynamic therapy and Internal Family Systems, with the understanding that growth happens within the context of supportive relationships and that healing often involves building a more integrated and affirming sense of self.
Priya might be the right therapist for you if…
