About Kallie
Sometimes big emotions (or the coping mechanisms you’ve developed to deal with them) can impact your ability to enjoy life. You might feel depressed, confused, or just generally bad in a way that’s hard to understand. Kallie (she/her) helps children, adolescents, and adults understand why they react strongly to certain situations and better cope with overwhelming feelings and everyday circumstances. She can help you make sense of the world, find balance, and move in the direction you want.
Kallie’s therapy style is gentle and encouraging. She’s affirming and kind, but will tell you (in a nice way) when you’re stuck in unhelpful thought patterns.
Kallie’s lived experience as a neurodivergent, queer, trans woman helps her create a space for clients to express and explore their experiences and identities, and navigate complex trauma. She treats anxiety, OCD, depression, trauma, BPD, OCD, functional neurological disorder (FND), Tourette’s syndrome, and dissociation. She also helps people with ADHD and autism develop executive functioning skills. Kallie loves helping children and adolescents understand and embrace their identities as they transition into adulthood.
Kallie pulls from several different evidence-based approaches, including psychodynamic psychotherapy, existential therapy, and exposure and response prevention (ERP). She is also trained in comprehensive behavioral intervention for tics (CBIT) for Tourette’s syndrome (also known as habit reversal training), and internal family systems (IFS). She is kink-affirming and sex-positive.
Kallie might be the right therapist for you if…
…you want a therapist who understands what it’s like to struggle with and celebrate neurodivergence
…you want to learn to thrive—not just function
…you need to let out anger or frustration with someone who will help you express yourself instead of just trying to calm you down
…you’re looking for a space to feel accepted and validated
…you want a therapist who can help you get to the root of why you have a hard time feeling comfortable or safe, even when surrounded by loved ones
