About Andrew

Ignoring or locking away your feelings can be the root of many issues, from decision paralysis to being unable to connect with others in meaningful ways. You might feel like something’s wrong, but can’t exactly say what. Or maybe you’re struggling with unmanageable feelings, hard-to-access emotions, or complicated combinations of emotions.

Andrew (he/him) helps clients access and understand feelings they’ve been ignoring. His therapy often centers around getting clients in touch with how they feel so they can better understand themselves, repair their relationships, address trauma, and lead a life that aligns with their values.

He also understands that shame can be a barrier to accessing difficult emotions. Andrew helps clients dismantle this barrier, address their emotions (and, often, other issues like depression or trauma that come with them), and move forward.

Andrew works with clients to unravel how toxic masculinity has impacted them (from how they think about their emotions to the pressures they feel) and separate what they want from what society wants. He also loves exploring the positives of masculinity with both trans and cis clients.

Clients have described Andrew’s therapy sessions as free-flowing, non-judgmental spaces where they can feel seen fully and progress at their own pace. Andrew treats OCD, hoarding, functional neurological disorder (FND), anxiety, depression, stress, addiction, and relationship issues. He uses psychodynamic therapy, exposure and response prevention (ERP), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and Internal Family Systems (IFS).

Andrew might be the right therapist for you if…

…you want to explore and move through your feelings, rather than just avoid them.

…you can’t pinpoint exactly what’s wrong, but you know something has to change

…you’re looking for space to understand yourself and find your voice.
